PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

General Appearance: Dion wears dark colors in the forests for camouflage. His hair is a very dark green, almost black. This is what sets him as a Forest faye.

Strengths: Dion is one of the few faye that does not fully embrace the usage of elementals in order to fight. He is a non-magical ranged damage-dealer, fighting with bows and guns. Dion has a number of different kinds of shots and stings, which can be used to reoccupy an enemy. He is capable of laying traps to deal damage or otherwise slow/incapacitate his enemy.

Animate Plant - If the plant has any special attacks (spines, thorns, thrown fruit), poison), he can invoke it to help him attack a foe. For example, a man-sized tree does damage equal to a heavy club with its branches. Thin branches and vines do damage equal to a foe but can be used to grapple and choke.

Tree Tell Information- This spell allows a caster to "talk" with a tree, allowing Dion to "see" what events happened within 10 feet of it (or under its branches for a large tree) during its lifetime. The hunter can start his "vision" at any point in the tree's life and he can "fast forward" through dull periods of the tree's history at a rate of up to 1 year per second. However, events that the hunter wishes to "see" must be viewed at the rate they happened.

Dion has learned how to use bows, guns, crossbows, thrown weapons, daggers, axes, and two-handed axes.

Weaknesses: As he is a sportsmen indulging in dangerous pursuits, he is prone to accidents which arise from these. The taking of risks is a danger, and he is also liable to accidents with fire and heat.

MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS

Current Goal/Purpose:He has spent much of his time hunting in the woods in Zeledin. The game is much easier to target than on Chenoa. Most of his family believes that he is really going on a world journey, but he just wanted to escape for a while. He is best friends with Joshua.

Fears: He has very few. His attitude is on the mission and little else.

General Personality: Dion is sensitive to the needs of others and has the gift, sometimes to an almost psychic extent, of understanding the emotional needs of his companions and meeting them with his own innate optimism – Dion is the kind of people of whom it is said, "He always make you feel better for having been with him." He is a very social faye. He loathes cruelty, viciousness and vulgarity and detests conflict between people, so he does his best to cooperate and compromise with everyone around him, and his ideal for his own circle and for society as a whole is unity.

Inner Personality: He has become a servant of humanity. He uses his energy as a force to synthesize delicate and volatile situations. His goals are accomplished by compassion of the heart and the right use of will in making choices that align human and Divine Will. He has found the common thread and shared vision which unites opposing forces.

HISTORIC BACKGROUND

General History: Dion is a stalker in the wilds, living on his knowledge of survival and skill with a bow or rifle. He is deeply in tune with nature, and some of its mightiest beasts are his allies. Few can resist the Dion’s call and fewer can survive his fury. He is universally renowned for his amazing abilities to find his prey and bring it down.

In Zeledin, the Hunter was a well known figure in its long history. However, few ever attempt to search for him in the pine forests that surround the port city of Elroot. That was until a young Joshua went into the woods to “hunt” down some goats. He got lost and was about to panic until he found a small hut that Dion dwelled in during the summer. At first Dion wanted to be rid of the troublesome youth, but he saw potential in the kid.

Over the years, Joshua visited him more often and viewed Dion as a brother figure in his life. He joined Joshua with Erin in their battles against Rane as a member of Team Zero. Overall, he was not fond of the elitist attitudes of the Chenoan based Team. However, he found Joshua’s idealism much more in sync with the Divine Will.

Present Life: Unknown. After spending several years on the newly formed Unit Zero, Dion got bored with life in Zeledin and said his farewells to Joshua.
