Name: Ryden Ondoos

Race: Moon Faye

Age: 18

Faction: The Category

Job: Student

Plot Appearance Generation III, A Morning's Star.

Appearance: Generation III Characters Ryden

Ryden dresses in a blue vest and white shirt. He generally likes wearing baggy trousers that are either khaki or black. He's currently a student, so he wears no fancy uniform like the higher level members of the Category. He tries to keep a very causal look to himself.

Abilities: Speaking to Owls; his main ablitiy is to communicate with owls and other birds of prey. He uses this as ability to determine changes in the weather, air currents, spying, and other purposes that account to partisan style warfare. Dark Flames: He can shoot out flames from the palms of his hands that burn an opponent's flesh. Sparks: He can use limited amounts of thunder sparks from the pieces of yellow emberite stones he carries on his person.

Weaknesses: Gullible- Will believe any information given, regardless of how valid or truthful it is, easily deceived or duped. Aimless- Devoid of direction or purpose, he feels that he doesn't have much to do with his life right now and has decided to become a drifter. Bold- In a bad sense, too forward; taking undue liberties; over assuming or confident; lacking proper modesty or restraint; rude; impudent. Abrupt, brazen, cheeky, brassy, audacious.

Personality: Ryden is a young man that's going to college. He believes that he can change the world almost right away, though just how he can do that remains unknown at this time. However, he knows that he's going to get far. The one downside to this is that he doesn't stick to a single subject matter within the schools of the Category, so his professors generally shove him off to doing field work or minor jobs for the military, i.e. being a bus boy. He has a crush on Skie, though he also likes Zahava...Oh so many famous ladies with good looks~

Equipment: Ryden has a haversack that carries his favorite book, The Red Haired Witch: The Adventures of Rane Before her Fall and his pet owl, Perot. Besides for food, he also carries a large bowie knife with a brass handle since he's not a fan of using swords.

History: Ryden is a nobody in the world of Mirabella. His family isn't famous for being involved with any of the wars, though his father did fight against Jason. He comes from a lower middle class Moon faye family that has spent most of their time minding their own livelihoods and keeping the events of the day aloof.

Ryden has grown bored with this sort of life style and after easily passing his school exams, he enrolled in the Category to become a member of the Special Ops. This lasted for a few weeks until he realized that it was totally not his cup of tea and then decided to study scrolls. Same thing happened again for several months, until his advisers decided that he was probably better off doing chores and errands for the officers of the Armed Forces. Ryden is currently in Azaria bumming around until his next job comes, hanging out at the local taverns and occasionally stalking that Patience girl.

Generation III Characters Empty Re: Generation III Characters

Name: Patience Beauvais

Race: Forest Faye/Human

Age: 20

Faction: Non-aligned politically, otherwise is considered Lawful Neutral

Job: Works for her mother as a Bar Keep; otherwise she is also a low ranking herbal alchemist.

Plot Appearance: From Generation III, The Morning Star

Appearance: Generation III Characters 96903
Patience has long green hair that extends past her bosom. She’ll always have two lilies pinned to the right side of her head, as an ancient custom amongst the Forest Faye, saying that she is single and of marrying age. However, she does this more so, because she loves the flower types. While she is not normally a fancy dresser, she owns one white dress that was made by a friend of her father’s. Since she wasn’t allowed to live with her dad, this is the only piece of him that she has left. Her normal wears are browns, reds, or grays that help keep the site of grim hidden. She also generally wears an old smock.

Abilities: She's the only character that has one of Rane's unaccounted for Auras. The Aura of the Forest (Wood): Allows for the usage of plants to heal and be used for weapons or any form of alchemy. This magical style focuses on wood, specifically using it to create various items and augment the caster's abilities. It requires names of power, dances, a special talisman, and emotional calm.

Spore Web: If she’s scared she can unleash a toxin that causes her foes to fall asleep, allowing for quick escapes.

Root Crush: Patience can summon plant roots to entangle a foe like a snake and slowly suffocates them to death.

Weaknesses: Opinionated and narrow-minded, Patience is not a hero and doesn’t pretend that she’ll be one. This also makes her naïve about the world, since Patience has never left the port of Sutocar in Azaria. Patience’s usage of magic is also subpar since she never went to schools that focused on refining these skills.

Personality: Motto: Try to mind your own business. Patience is very argumentative and conservative. Patience is also fairly pessimistic and thus believes that by sticking to a daily routine, that it helps her get through life. If she strays from this routine, she becomes moody and easily confused. Patience is very suspicious about her fellow faye, since her mother raised her to distrust full bloods. However, Patience is also very charitable to locals that ask for her help, since her mother taught her that being kind to the locals creates a community. Thus she only deals with local people. Are you local? She only trusts one male figure in her life and his name is Medus.

Equipment: Embossed Pin-A small pin that she wears on the breast of her coat that is in the shape of a flower. It has no magical function. Pendant of Good Barrier-A pendant that she wears around her neck that forms a low level Embera barrier, she got this as a gift from one of her father’s friends.

History: Patience’s father was a forest faye and her mother a human. She was born during the events of Generation II but was not old enough to remember those events. Since Patience’s father was a member of the Category, he was gone a lot and one day never returned home. It is rumored that he joined up with Medus' Yellow Brother Pirates and may have served with a member of the Syndicate named Malden. Her mother grew more and more cynical about the Category and soon barred Patience from learning or embracing her Faye heritage, proclaiming that it’d corrupt a good girl.

Patience grew up living alongside the human sailors of the port city and soon became found of the sea and the lore associated with it. Her schooling focused on the history of Azar and how it helped to win the war against Jason. Patience also grew up developing a deep respect for a fellow half blood named Rosalyn Glenhill and thus has a love for airships. However, these dreams of flight would be laid to rest when her mother refused to allow her to go any of the higher schools run by the Category on Azarian soil. Patience has been stuck learning basic home skills and running a tavern in order to help her mom out. Patience has learned basic alchemy skills more or less by chance and when she's scared. Her powers seem to manifest when she's either nervous or in real danger.

Her mother has gone through many boyfriends over the years, leaving Patience without a strong male role model in her life, causing Patience to view the local sailors in the bars as the closest thing to fatherly figures she’s ever had. One man, named Medus is the one person that she views as a father, though her mother doesn’t trust him.

In A Morning Star, Patience meets a light faye by the name of Alax that seems to have various personality issues. The Light faye almost instantly views Patience as a friend. Alax is being chased by the pirate Malden. When Malden’s pirates loot and burn down the Black Bear Tavern, Patience is left homeless and left not knowing her mother’s fate. Alax then decides that Patience will come with her in searching for her missing “Scared Fire.” Over the course of the story, Patience will have to learn how to cope with a world that’s much more complex and not as black and white as her mother taught her it was…

Generation III Characters Empty Re: Generation III Characters

Post by Chavah Wed Dec 14, 2011 2:20 am

Name: Jamie “Eru” Sunbane

Race: Fire Faye/Light Faye

Age: Actual age hasn't changed since she's a spirit. Physical age looks 12 when in child form. 22 when in adult form.

Faction: None

Job: Spirit of the Blade of Sunfire

Appearance: Generation III Characters 33f3456e28e16b73a3edc7ebcefc3f08

Eru generally always appears as a young girl of around 12 or 13. This helps her blend in with the local societies more than as a pink haired adult.

Generation III Characters Haruko

The few times she appears in her actual form is when she is about to go off into battle. Her facial expressions are almost always exaggerated in order to give off the aura of insanity or cruelty depending on her mood.

Abilities: Blood Molding: If she looses any blood during battle she can create it to form various forms of animals or monsters, limited only by her gross imagination or the amount of pools she has close to her on the ground or from wounds. She has a tendency of summoning large fish or aquatic based beasts. This can only be down when she makes a contract in order to become physical again.

Switch: Allows her to bend Embera around her to appear being different ages.

Beam of Lightning: This magical style focuses on lightning. It requires holding a specific pose for the duration of a spell and special clothes. Since Eru is young, her spell mostly sends weak sparks blasting from her fingers. When she has enough focus, she can cause large volts.

The Fires of Lava: A large scaled spell in which she can summon the heat of the earth to burn opponents to death. This is the staple move of the Sword of Sunfire.

Blinding Light: She can overwhelm an opponents visualization to the point where they are blinded by light. This spell does not affect beings from the Moon tribe.

Weaknesses: Childish- Marked by or indicating a lack of maturity; puerile. Erratic- Deviating from the customary course in conduct or opinion; eccentric: erratic behavior. Eccentric, bizarre, outlandish, strange. Fanaticism- Fanatic outlook or behavior especially as exhibited by excessive enthusiasm, unreasoning zeal, or wild and extravagant notions on some subject. Fickle- Characterized by erratic changeableness or instability, especially with regard to affections or attachments; capricious.

Personality: Eru is a twisted faye in every sense of the word. She was once the co-founder of a famous circus act in the Requiem years of SoE and had joined Joshua’s resistance against Rane. However, Rane soon mistook Eru for being one of the goddesses and trapped her soul into a blade since Chavvah proved to be too difficult to control. However, this process caused Eru to become twisted in her own self deluded world; every thing is based upon her circus days. When outside of the sword, she goes out of her way too annoy enemies, also only half caring about what happens to her wielder. Unlike Chavvah, Eru has no need for a deep suited revenge against Rane.

Equipment: None.

History: Eru belonged to a family of gypsy faye that roamed from region to region in search of work, which generally was circus based. Eru learned how to control her blood in order to create all sorts of weird animals since it was considered a strange art back in the days of Rane. However, her parents didn’t take into account that it could cause real damage sometime down the road. At the age of 18, she created her own traveling show with “Fishface,” a member of Joshua’s resistance that would later be known to the world as Flora Glenhill. The two became close friends, buying various animals to their show to make it more entertaining. Eru then became loosely involved with Joshua’s fight against Rane, but played more of a supporting role. One night when she and Flora preformed at Rane’s palace (under a spying mission), Rane noticed the strange magiks of Eru and mistook her for a goddess. In response, the young woman was killed and her soul was placed within a blade. This blade never saw action against the SOE, since it was soon stolen by a pirate of the name of Malden, where it has been ever since.

Generation III Characters Empty Re: Generation III Characters

Name: Malden Isrstiental

Race: Human, Living Embera.

Age: 42

Faction: A Chaotic Neutral member of the Pirate Syndicate.

Appearance:
Generation III Characters Vincent16_mov

Malden is a man in tip top shape. Taking time to improve on his physical form, Malden looks like a Greek God in form. He wears an unkempt beard and has hair that reaches down to his shoulders, giving him a wild man look.

Abilities: Malden has no magical powers like many of the other characters in the Mirabella world. The closet he’s achieved was discovering one of the many routes to immortality. His heart has been replaced by the a Light Faye’s “Scared Fire,” which is in reality a piece of super rare Red Embera. Having his mortal heart replaced, it makes Malden similar to a phoenix, where he’ll die in a fire every hundred years and is reborn a few days later as a fully grown man. Since he is a living piece of Embera, Malden was able to control Rane’s second Sword of Embera called the Sunfure.

Weaknesses:Although immortal, Malden can still suffer fatal injuries and still feels pain. If he loses a limb, it will not grow back until he is reborn. Lobbing off his head is the surest way to defeat him, as his entire form will burst into flames.

Personality: Malden follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. Malden does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). Malden is chauvinistic and has a harem of faye, he calls his “Brides.”

Equipment:
Generation III Characters 0613cherubimaflamingswordSm

The Sword of Sunfire. This sword was also created by Rane after Chavvah proved to be too difficult to control. The soul of this sword came from a gypsy faye named Eru. She had fought alongside Joshua in the Requiem Years and personally knew Chavvah. However, Eru was captured by Rane. Overall this Sword is not as powerful as the Runeblade is because it has stayed within the hands of Malden for generations and he did not see the purpose of making a second weapon of mass destruction. Also, unlike the SOE, this sword is considered a sacred object amongst the Flame Faye because of their fallen sisters dwells inside of it. The Sword of Sunfire’s main powers involve Dragon’s Breath and a blinding light.

Generation III Characters AirShip

The Snake: Is Malden’s chief weapon. It has a record amount of some 200 cannons and has a top speed of 2300 yoms, making it a fast ship. Designed by Rosalyn’s AirCorps, it is up to the modern designs of most Category class ships.

History: Malden is the main antagonist of the Morning Star plot.

Malden’s immortality came just a few years following the fall of Zeledin to the Fallen God. However, he was not involved with any of the epics centered on the good prince Joshua and Chavvah. He discovered immortality by laying with a light faye that gave him her heart forever. She made a bet with him, that he would stay loyal to her. However, in one of his travels out east, he cheated on her with a human woman. Upon finding out, the light faye’s heart was broken and she began to fade away into the Embera Void because she gave up on life. He was punished by the High Priestesses of the Sun Temple by placing that same faye’s scared fire into his heart. Their logic was clear, Malden would remain a live until the cracking of the world and never be reunited with his love in the afterlife. Distraught, he came across the Sword of Sunfire by accident. After Rane’s defeat, the sword had become lost since no one knew it existed. Needing a contract just like Eve did with Joshua to have a physical form, Eru promised Malden if he helped free her, she’d help free him.

Having no luck on mainland Zeledin in the post war years, Malden moved to Azaria which remained a backwards nation compared to most Category nations. There he became a pirate and started his obsession with saving faye slaves and forming what would become his “harem.” During the conflict against Jason, Malden remained uninvolved believing he had no personal risk with it.

In more modern times, Malden has fallen for a new High Priestess named Alax. What his purposes for her are, remain unknown. However, if one were to ask Eru, she has enough reason to believe that this light faye maybe the very same girl he fell in love with over 50 years ago in the past.
